Causes that triggers back pain
The human back
is supported by a set of muscles, ligaments, tendons, disks and bones. This
complex structure of our spine is cushioned with cartilage-like pads. Problems
with any of these can lead to back pain.

- Arthritis - patients who are affected with osteoarthritis commonly experience problems in the hip joints, lower back, knees and hands.
- Abnormal curvature of the spine – the unusual curve in the spine curves in an unusual way the patient is more likely to experience back pain.
- Cauda equina syndrome - People with cauda equine syndromes experiences a dull pain in the lower back and upper buttocks, along with analgesia in the buttocks, genitalia and thighs.
